Julie Drew, PA-C

Julie Drew, Physician Assistant, is originally from Miami, Florida, and has been a Raleigh resident since 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from East Carolina University. She then earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Duke University. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Julie has special interest in women's health issues, managing mood changes and Metabolic Syndrome: hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and lipid disorders. She encourages therapeutic lifestyle changes to optimize health prior to the use of prescription medications. Outside of the office, she enjoys running, biking, and camping. She also enjoys the leisure activities made available through Raleigh's Parks and Recreation and the State Park systems, including the Raleigh Greenway and Falls Lake Recreation Area. She is married and is the proud mother of two daughters, Lindsey and Nicole.
