How do I schedule an office visit?
Please visit either our Raleigh or Wakefield Appointment Request pages or call the office where you wish to have an appointment. Capital Family Medicine is 919-878-8596. Wakefield Medical Care is 919-488-8066.

New patients are required to hold their appointment with a valid credit or debit card; this is only held until a patient shows for appointment. The card will only be charged if patient does not call to give a 24 hour notice of cancelling the appointment.

How do I get After Hours Care?
To get medical advice after regular business hours, please call our main office number at 919-878-8596 and follow the directions. You will receive a call from our on-call physician within 30 minutes.

How should I request a prescription refill?
Please have your pharmacy send an electronic refill request to our office for all prescriptions. We require 2 business days to respond to ALL requests. You will be notified if an office visit is necessary for a refill authorization. Refill requests should be made during office hours. Prescriptions called in after office hours and on the weekends will result in a $25 charge to your account. It is your responsibility to keep track of how much medication you have left. Lost prescriptions will be replaced for a fee. Changing pharmacies or additional prescription requests made outside of office visits may incur a fee.

What is your Privacy Policy:
As a health care provider, Capital Family Medicine & Wakefield Medical Care are both experienced with and strongly committed to protecting our patients' privacy. We do not share any personally identifiable information submitted through the forms or e-mail links on this site with any entity outside of Capital Family Medicine/Wakefield Medical Care unless you authorize us to do so or we are required to do so by law.

What is your Security Policy:
We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our secure software meets the industry standard and is among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

All of our employees and data processors who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our patients personal data.

What is your Refund Policy:
If an over payment is made, all refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used within five (5) business days. Virtual Office Visits will not be refunded.
